To give you an idea of what you can expect from us, we'd like to guide you through the description below:
After your journey, you will arrive at the gate of Villa Paignon, in the village of Montgaudier. As you drive up the chestnut lane you will see the villa appear. You can park your car on the property behind the villa and immediately get an impression of the beautiful garden and wooded surroundings.
Our dog Pinot may greet you enthusiastically, but don't be afraid because he is just happy.
The enclosed backyard features a large saltwater swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. You can also enjoy lovely walks or, for example, descend to the banks of the river 'La Tardoire'.
Our villa is situated on a hill, with the garden bordered on the east side by a steep cliff beneath which are limestone caves. The cliff is fenced off, but despite this, we consider this location unsuitable for children and pets for safety and precautionary reasons.
For guests of the Villa:
The almost two centuries old villa, built in neoclassical style, still contains many original details. The entire first floor is privately owned by our guests and is eclectically decorated with a vintage touch. It can accommodate a total of nine people.
- On the ground floor there are two communal areas where you can meet and relax.
- Breakfast is also served here. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
- Five stylishly furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet.
- In total there are four double rooms and one single room, especially for the individual traveller.
For guests of the Gîte:
This charming gîte (sleeps up to 4) combines authentic features with contemporary comfort. It has been fully renovated and tastefully decorated. A private entrance leads into the spacious kitchen, which opens directly onto the generous living and dining room. Two comfortable bedrooms are located on the first floor.
The gîte has:
- Two bedrooms with double bed
- One modern bathroom with shower
- One separate toilet
- A fully equipped kitchen
For Studio guests:
This charming studio (maximum 2 persons) has been completely renovated and stylishly furnished.
