Villa Paignon in Montgaudier

Welcome to the beautifully restored old villa!

A warm welcome to this beautiful estate in the Charente, where nature, space, peace and comfort come together in a historic setting.

Villa Paignon was built in 1843 by the renowned lawyer and publicist Eugène Paignon.          

The villa was popularly known as the “petit chateau de Montgaudier”.

When the villa was purchased in 2021, it was completely dilapidated. But after two years of intensive renovation, the doors were opened to guests in 2023. In addition to the private residence, it has become a beautiful bed & breakfast. The hope is that guests, just like us, will enjoy the splendour of the past and the design of today.

- The villa has 4 double rooms and 1 single room.

- Behind the villa there is an authentic gîte (holiday home) suitable for 4 people.

- There is also a charming studio/cottage available for 2 people.
